Malaysia Airlines’ Satellite Golden Lounge Reopens at KLIA

The newly refurbished Malaysia Airlines (MAS) International Golden Lounge at KLIA’s Satellite Building was opened on 1 March 2018. Passengers flying First and Business Class, MAS Enrich Platinum and Gold members, as well as OneWorld Emerald and Sapphire members are welcomed to visit and enjoy the Golden Lounge.

There are three separate lounge options in KLIA for the eligible MAS passengers. The Malaysia Airlines Satellite Premium and Business Golden Lounge is located in the Satellite Building at Mezzanine Level 2, while the Malaysia Airlines Regional Lounge is in the Main Terminal Building and the Malaysia Airlines Domestic Lounge is at Domestic Terminal A.

Paying homage to Malaysia’s modern heritage, the lounges’ design elements incorporate the country’s rich culture, arts, food, and architecture aspects. Something we’re very excited to hear of, is the addition of a Laksa Bar in the Malaysia Airlines Satellite Platinum Premium Golden Lounge. There are also other dishes of local and continental cuisine, a self-serving light snacks area, a fine dining area, a cigar room, lounge seating, a slumber room for passengers to nap in, and a washroom with shower facilities.

It goes without saying that high speed Wi-Fi is complimentary for all eligible passengers at the Golden Lounges, and there are comfortable seatings so guests can get some work done with ease. The Malaysia Airlines Domestic Lounge even has a baggage storage and a mini spa for manicures and pedicures. Killing time at KLIA can now be accomplished in style via some last minute beauty pampering.
